Sri Petaling Community Portal is a Malaysian portal that is dedicated to the community of Sri Petaling in Kuala Lumpur. It is located at the south of Kuala Lumpur just next to the national sports township of Bukit Jalil . The township is accessibly via many roads like the KESAS expressway as well as the KL-Seremban highway. Sri Petaling has rapidly grown over the last 10 years or so, perhaps due to the 1998 Commonwealth Games which saw fast development of housing areas and the sports complex located at Bukit Jalil in preparation of the event. Ever since then, Sri Petaling has grown into one of the most populated areas in Kuala Lumpur with property prices rising fast as well.

Sripetaling.com.my is a community portal that provides you with all the information that is relevant to the people of the community as well as anyone interested. The portal is a great place to congregate the community and allow interaction between the people of the community.

From its humble beginnings in the early 1980s when it was known for its isolated location and the rubbish dump nearby to the now almost fully developed modern township with its own fishing pond, shopping mall and some world class sporting facilities nearby, Sri Petaling has come a long way. There used to be one trunk road that comes here but today, it is connected with more than 2 expressway with a new one just added in, the Kuala Lumpur-Putrajaya Expressway. It is now possible to get to Sri Petaling within 10 minutes drive from the city center.
